What kind of partial plate would you recommend? and why?
Answers:
Metal if at all possible. I have had both acrylic and metal partial upper plates and the differance in bite, ressiliance and fit is like noght and day. Do not skimp out on ANY prosthetics man, your other teeth and gums will thank you for it.
Metal ones last longer and are more resistant to fracture. If you have to have a clasp made for one of your front teeth, you can ask the dentist to make that particular one resin - so it doesn't show as much when you smile. The resin ones can also become "deformed" after a while and you'll need to get it replaced. Good luck.
metal.acrylic can break more easily!
