Tmj but no pain only popping and cracking..?
Answers:
Thomas T has said it all. See a dentist who treats patients with TMJ conditions for an assessment. You don't have pain at the moment, but if you continue with the cracking and popping, you will eventually have the pain with the symptoms. A night guard will more than likely be advised and you should consider using this appliance as it does wonders with patients with severe TMJ problems. Good luck!

yes there is something you can do! simply get a mouth guard for wearing at night. b/c you might grind your teeth at night. or go see a chiropractor.
go for multivitamin therapy for 15 days
I agree with the mouth guard. But you may also need your bite adjusted. The is a process a dentist does to make sure you bite evenly on all teeth. Removing the wisdom teeth has made changes in your bite. The force of it is no longer evenly distributed. A dentist that knows TMJ dysfunction will properly adjust the bite and fit you with a night guard. If left untreated, eventually there will be pain.
No, you don't need pain for TMJ. That is the cartilage that is cracking. Get to a dentist and have this seen to.
