Why does ones tongue go furry after a night out on the beer?

My tongue is ok but I have other problems(hence the name)

The alcohol dehydrated you.
My teeth feel furry after too much red wine.
I've never hadt the tongue problem, though.
Alcohol dehydrates your body and makes the mouth sticky, dry or as you say furry feeling. refuel with lots of water.
probably cuz of the yeast in the beer. And the yeast in your body.Thats what i think...but hey..i dunno for sure...

Yep- you are very dehydrated. Look at the back of a hair conditioner bottle. The unconditioned hair is your tongue after a night of drinking.
Bacteria growth on your tongue is at a maximum after a healthy diet of yeasty drinks all night long.
