I've had some toothaches that no pain medicine could relieve. Inside each tooth is a blood vessel too small to let much pain medicine in to a nerve large enough to cause a lot of pain. One of the few things I've found that have gotten me through until I can see a Dentist is to 'freeze' the aching nerve. Ice, ice water, freeze pops, the colder the better, will offer at least temporary relief. Good luck!
oh i think that u should call the dentst because if u`ll face a terrible think than this.u can help[ urself now by using the salt mix with the water and take it to ur mouth for 2 min so u`ll get better.
In addition to taking Advil LiquiGels (which work the fastest), sleep on an extra pillow to elevate your head. If that doesn't work, you can move to a recliner or the sofa so you can keep your head really elevated. This will minimize the blood flow to the area and therefore minimize the throbbing and pain.
Ice applied to your face might also help.
CHECK OTC PRODUCTS AT YOUR DRUGSTORE!
See DENTIST ASAP!
Toothaches are a sign that there may be more to worry about then just a little pain. The causes of toothache are several but the major causes are, dental cavity, a cracked tooth, exposed tooth root, gum disease, disease of the jaw joint or spasms of the muscles used for chewing. It is possible for the cause of a toothache to originate from an entirely different problem such as heart attack or angina but this is quite rare. It can be noted however that some patients suffering angina will show toothache or jaw pain as the only symptoms so it is always best to let your dentist or doctor evaluate you.
