i know exactly how u feel! i used to be so TERRIFIED of dentists just a few months ago when i had to have a root canal done! Well.let me tell u somethin.it didnt hurt! =D ok well anyways.alot of people recomended using Valium or laughing gas. to be honest i didnt do anything special to calm my nerves. i just sucked it up. Just trust ur dentist he or she knows wat their doing and best of luck.

Gooooooooooo by bus
drink water.deep breathe. and tell your dentist.
nothing is going to calm ur nerves, just know they will numb it out, and u won't feel much pain
they'll give you something to help you when you get there. It will be OK.
haha throw up on doc's face, i did once, its soooooooooooooo funny
Don't be scared! just think, After this is all over, my tooth is gona feal alot better and I will be in less pain. It's not bad at all to get a tooth removed. I had one removed!
You just calim down. And go out and get it off your mind ok
okay..calm down..everything will be fine, fine and fine...♥
not really, I guess the only advice I have is a little too late. The only thing I've ever had to go to the dentist for, other then a cleaning and check up was my wisdom teeth, and I booked it as last minute as I could, that way I didn't have a lot of time to think about it. Just keep telling yourself that everything is fine, and just try to think about how beautiful your teeth are going to look after you get everything all done!
ive never gotten a tooth removed, but dont worry theyre gona use something to make it numb, the dentist doesnt want you to be hurt hes there to help =)
I get extremely scared when I go to the dentist, he started prescribing one low dose valium for half an hour before my appointment. I just get one and take it before the appointment, it works. There is also the "laughing gas" that stuff is amazing! If you can't do either of those.just remember to breathe, and take some headphones with you, crank up your favorite tunes so you don't have to hear what they are doing.
two shots of tequila oughtta do it!
take 10 deep breaths, then just remember, novacane, and nitros oxide will take all the pain away. u wont feel a thing, ur nervousness is all in ur head.

no worrys be happy
there is no reason to be scared. justbreath in and out slowly and he will most likely give u laughing gas or num ur gums. good luck!
Well usaly they give you laughing gas to num it and u dont feel it i had an infected tooth and i got laughin gas ididnt even know they started!
If you are really scared, call the Dentist and ask him what you may take to keep your nerves steady.

Remember, having this work done does not hurt. These days, the Dr. uses such a tiny guage needle to numb the area, you can't even feel that either. Trust me. I am scared to death of a Dentist, although I've never had one hurt me in my life.

So, for anyone who doesn't understand what you are going through, cannot advise you. Just remember, it won't hurt. Just try to relax, think of something pleasant while he's working on you and it'll be over sooner than you think. Good Luck and keep your chin up. It'll be OK.
Do you know how scared i was yesterday, i couldn't sleep all night and my heart was racing so fast! But i still went to the oral surgeon, and he removed 6 teeth in less the 24 hrs ago! 4 wisdom teeth and 2 extra, two of my wisdom teeth were under the gum and lying sideways, so they had to be cut out! i have not had pain at all since i left the dental surgeon at 3.30pm yesturday and it is now 9.00am the next day! i have some jaw tenderness where they removed some bone but no throbbing pain whatso ever, nothing like i expected it to be! i was atleast expecting to be on the floor crying but i haven't even had the need to take any pain killers till this morning and even then i only took one!

Go to a good oral surgeon, they will not make you suffer and will do the operation as painlessly as possible! Trust me i had 6 teeth out yesturday!
Lots of slow deep breathing
