Wisdom Teeth Extraction Complication?
I haven't had any other complications and near to no pain, so I guess I shouldn't complain. I'm just not sure i want a blood clot so close to my lymph nodes.

I work with a dentist and he extracted all four of mine at the same time. My bottom two were kind of turned sideways and I too had a big hard lump on my jaw. If what you have is a bruise keep putting ice on it and it should go away between 4-6 weeks. If it goes longer or there is change in your status you should call the dentist ASAP and let him know. It was difficult for me in regards to having all four of them pulled out, but I am healing nicely and the bruise "bump" on my jaw is totally gone. I only had some pain for the first 3 days. I got the procedure done March 2nd and my gums are about 90% closed were he had to stitches but no pain or anything. You will be alright, just give it some time. You'll see. Take care of yourself.
You sure he didnt mean hematoma?
thankfully, no. mine need to come out too but i'm way too big of a chicken to have it done. i've heard too much about dry sockets and blood and bone clots. no way!
This is actually in response to poster above.
If the dentist suggest that wisdom teeth removal is a must I'd do it. I was told I needed it done or my teeth would shift. I waited and what happened, my beautiful bottom teeth turned into a bunch of crooked bottom teeth. Now I'm 24 and about to get braces! So even though the wisdom teeth were pulled my damage to my teeth were already done!
