I have permenant stains on my teeth after braces can they be removed somehow or no.?
Answers:
If they are white stains and you can see where the bracket was attached (and it looks normal) then you have decalcification. This happens when you don't brush the plaque and food build-up from around your bands and brackets when the braces are on.
Decalcification is the beginning of a cavity. There is nothing you can do to correct it and if you don't care for those teeth properly the condition will worsen.
Get a bleach kit from the dentist.
CONSULT YOUR DENTAL DOC
lol. if you say you have PERMENANT stains on your teeth, it would be my guess that no, youre stuck with them.
You'd want to explore your options with tooth whitening, and your dentist/dental hygienist can help you with that. If you're looking for some reading, I've posted some links for you (some of them are PDF documents, so download Adobe Acrobat Reader to read them).
I have braces stains, went to the dentist, did bleaching, but only lighten the shadows, will not go away completely.
I asked my dental hygienist the same question. I was told the teeth whitening solution you can buy over the counter works just as well and any bleaching they use. But... I was given something years ago called opal essence. You could ask your dentist if it is still available.
