What is the best/strongest pain killer for wisdom teeth extractions?

During the process if you have the money I highly recommend Laughing Gas I took it and during i felt no pain and I had all 4 removed! Prior to I took a Vicidon so it would kick in just as it wore off, The Dentist only prescribed a tylenol 3 with codine to my dismay and it was not enough, id highly recommend vicidon for the pain if you can get it prescribed.

They will give you Tylenol #3 (Tylenol w/ Codeine) or Vicodin(Tylenol w/ Hyrdrocodone). IF you have not taken one before the Tylenol #3 will be enough - if you have a tolerance, you will need the Vicodin more likely - they will not give you 1000 Vicodin - more like 325/4.5 or something like that - that answer makes no sense at all. No such thing.

depends on how you react.

vicoden is good. they say that it is like takeing morphine in a sixth of the dose.

take what the give you if it doesnt make you comfortable call them. they are concerned for you and dont want you to be in pain.

vicodens dont come in 1000s btw. it is a mix of hydrocodone and tylenol. the come in 5mg hc and 7.5 mg hc

Loratabs are good. I have a high tolerance for a lot of the painkillers, and Loratabs worked wonders for me when I had surgery on my mouth.
Percocet. But a lot of doctors don't like prescribing it because it really strong.
While Alcohol might be the best legal pain killer available - there are also severe side effects. Much more than a hangover. In order to be effective as a true painkiller, ethyl alcohol needs to be administered in doses that are almost lethal.
I'll get to the point though, Oxycodone is the strongest now that you can get, Morphine sulphate is a little more potent- IV, but that's not really a prescription. I'll let you do the research. There are actually drugs much more powerful than heroin- which is already- {2X morphine} ( diacetyl morphine) that will kill you with less than 10 mg.
try Panadine.
Ok, this really works.
crush two panadine tablets and put in mouth wash liquid.
shake it and gogle it.
wash your tooth twice a day with it.
VIcodin or Lortabs (hydrocodone + Tylenol) work very well. I rarely Rx Percocet/Percodan -OR- codeine any more, because it tends to upset the stomach so bad that people prefer to suffer with the pain than take the med.
Vicodin works pretty well for me I got mine extracted yesterday. Good Luck!
My daughter took Vicodin & it seemed to help but made her nauseated.
