Does bleaching your teeth clean them?
Answers:
When the hygienist or dentist cleans your teeth she is removing plaque and tartar. They are also looking for diseases like cavities & infections. A "cleaning" is not really a cosmetic procedure (although the result is cosmetically pleasing) but instead, a preventative procedure. The excessive buildup of plaque and tartar contributes to disease and tooth loss.
No, it just whitens them and overbleaching strips away your enamel. You still need to brush & floss your teeth and have a pro clean them twice a year to keep a healthy grill.
go for it
It only whitens your teeth. It doesn't remove all the plaque around your gum line. The dentist needs to do that.
Nope, thats the one thing people don't understand..Bleaching your teeth whitens them it doesn't clean them. Your teeth may feel like there clean, but the bleach does not protect against tarter or cavities. I recommend bleaching your teeth then brushing them..
