I have ridges on my bottom molars, does anyone know what casues these?
Answers:
Where are the ridges? Top or side?
I'm guessing that they are on the side near your gums. Assuming that they are not cavities, which have brown in them, I'm going to guess they are from griding your teeth. I know you are going to say, "How can I make grooves on the sides of my teeth by grinding?" but it happens. Look up "abfraction" on the internet, look at some of the pictures and see if any of them look like your teeth.
The ridges could be cause exostosis which is a bony overgrowth. It can be removed but usually does not cause problems unless you need to wear dentures.
