Do teeth whiteners actually work?
Answers:
Yes, but it might not work as well if your teeth are stained from medicine or other things. Also, the concentration is different in over the counter treatments.
most do.
Usually. It depends on your teeth as much or more than the whitener you choose.
Yes, generally, but they are not always healthy
Yes, they do!! The Rembrant teeth whitening system (about 15 bucks) works really well, and I've had some success with the Crest whitestrips, although it doesn't reach your back teeth like the Rembrant teeth trays does. You have to re-do it every 6 months or so, but I really like the results!
They do. Crest whitestrips work very well, but sometimes can cause a little sensitivity while you use them. It goes away though.
Yes, Rembrandt Plus toothpaste worked for me when I used it. I need to do it again since I am going to be in my sister's wedding soon.
I've heard from friends that Crest white strips really do work as they claim.

it made a big difference in only one week
Sometimes, depends on what brand.
They should, at least for the price your paying.
Yes the over the counter gels do work. They have the same ingredients dentists use.
they work but not as well as going to a dentist and having it done professionally. All the whitener does is go into the little microscopic holes that has formed in your enamel and whitens it up. However the material that is causing the discoloration in your teeth will not go away.this is why you will have to use these the rest of your life in order for them to work.
