a burned tongue is honestly nothing you can do but something people don't know is that you tongue heals quicker than anything in and out of your body. So if you have listerine numb your tongue and call it a night because by the next day it will be back to normal...
Hah! Been there. Coffee, pizza pockets and pizza etc.

Eat some ice cream or drink some cold water, or at the very minimum suck on an ice cube. It will probally feel better in a day or so, but still sore. Good luck.
sugar
Put a lot of salt on your tongue. What ever you do don't put butter on it. Most people have this misconception that butter is good for a burn, that is so wrong, all you are doing is frying the burnt spot.
The best thing to cut any burn is to put salt on it. It will cut the burn and keep it from blistering too badly, this would work especially well on a tongue
Mix water and hydrogen peroxide and rinse your mouth with it. Sometimes it just takes time...
Just keep a spoonful of honey / Gingely oil / Sun flower oil for few minutes in ur mouth.
