Went to dentist leg shaking?

I went to the dentist to get my teeth clean and they had all the mumbo jumbo in my mouth, novacaine was goin but I noticed my legs shook A LOT and I couldn't control it, I had to literally use the weight of my other legs to press down on it. But in my concious state I was fine, i didn't feel any worry only the annoying feeling of my legs like being possessed. Was it my sub-concious that was nervous or did it have any effect with my nerves? I was also very tired.

I have to go back again soon, so I want to practice to see what causes the uncontrollable shaking.

Answers:
Sometimes the anesthetic used can cause 'the shakes.' It has epinephrine in it which can cause an adrenaline release effect.

If you did not have anesthetic, then yes, that is an odd reaction. If you did have an injection then just remind the doctor next time that it causes you to shake and he can use a plain anesthetic, one without epinephrine.
Sometimes when you have to be very still a part of your body will shake uncontrollably. At other times it's nervousness. I wouldn't worry about it.
sounds like it could be a damaged nerve
Did you tell your dentist? I don't know but maybe not only the nerves, you could have had a reaction to the novacaine. Check with your physician also.
