well theres a dif bet getin ur teeth whitened and getin it cleaned(form stains.etc.).if u wana get it cleaned u hav got 2 hav sclaing done by a dentist(which is not very expensiv procedure) and u could maintain ur oral health by brushing properli..but if u dont want cleaning n u just want ur teeth 2 be more white than first off u shud know that everi persons teeth color n shade varies slightli from others and procedures of whitening teeth no matter how expensiv or cheap are all temporary that means they may last for an year or so or even less than that.
The technique used bi dentist is bleaching agents(teeth whitening procedures) which contains peroxide.etc. n i guess its not very expensive although prices vary. It is the ideal technique becuase ur geting it done bi the dentsit himself.
although these procedures do hav a bit of drawback in that they can caus sensititvity of teeth as peroxides slightly penetrate the teeth barrier.
the best thing 2 do is go 2 a dentist n first take all the information from him of how much it cost(becuase cost varies from dentist to dentist),how long will it last and potential sideeffect if any.
