Call your dentist and tell them the problem, maybe they can get you on a cancelation list.
In the mean time brush, floss and use mouthwash 3 times a day without fail!!
Your teeth are imbedded in bone in your jaw. This bone is attached to the teeth by a tuny ligament. When you dont brush and floss, bacteria will get inside the space where this ligament is and begin to destroy it. After the ligament is done, they will move on the the bone. This causes the bone to recede. This is called periodontitis, which is an active infection in your gums that cannot be cured, only maintained. Eventually the bone recedes so much that there isnt any bone to hold the tooth in and it falls out. The fact that the tooth is only slightly loose is good in the sense that you have caught the infection early, and can remedy the problem with brushing and flossing. Your dentist will explain all of this to you. In the meantime, like was mentioned previously, brush and floss twice a day if possible. You will probably get some bleeding initially. This is because the infection has irritated the tissue, so that any slight touch will make it bleed. As you begin to get the infection under control, the bleeding will stop (takes about a week). To keep bacteria from proliferating in your mouth, all it takes is a light physical touch to break it up (which is why we brush with soft bristles, and floss to get between the teeth where the brush cant go). Good luck, i hope this helps.
Vitamin C is an antioxidant that protects cells against damage, helps wounds to heal, fights infections, promotes healthy bones, teeth, gums and blood vessels, and aids in the absorption of iron.
Severely low intakes of Vitamin C over time can produce bleeding gums, loose teeth, frequent infections, anemia and other problems. An intake of as little as 10 mg/day can prevent these symptoms.
Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin. Water-soluble vitamins are carried throughout the body in the bloodstream. They are, for the most part, not stored in the body. The body uses what it needs and the rest is passed in the urine.
If under stress,or u do lots of physical activity, drinking alcohol, smoking all cause the need to boost your uptake of Vit C,If i feel a tooth starting to wobble i rub Vitamin C into my gums as well as take a teaspoon of vit c non-acidic powder in orange juice 3 times a day and this stops it within a few days,U will know u have taken to much if u get diarrhea. But ide rather have to much than not enough, hope this helped
