Braces pricing in Singapore?

I am having braces on now, and i am moving to singapore for study next month. I need to know what's the procedure to get a routine check up for my braces and the price for the treatment.

Can I just come to a dentist there or should I bring some letter from my previous dentist?

first and foremost,the pricing depends on whether u wanna visit a hospital or a private clinic.needless to say,a private clinic will be of higher end to the hospital.however,there is a down side to the hospital.it would be a long time before you get to visit them.like being "enlisted".of course,do bring a referral letter as it would expedite the process(hospital)
