Tooth Sensativity?
Answers:
I had this same problem..although my problem wasn't that it ached it just hurt it came and went (the sensitivity). It turned out on my right upper part of my mouth well, there's a gum recession. Gum recession (as it was explained to me) if the gum is pushed up far enough it exposes the nerves, and the nerves react to the temp. change so I would get a sensitivity. The dentist and the hygenist said it never would completely go away, but that the flouride (sp?) I got helped. They also told me to be careful of how I brush in the area and try to use Crest Sensitivity toothpaste.
Hope I helped.
Some people are more sensitive to hot and cold. There are toothpastes for sensitive teeth. If you've recently gotten a new filling, sometimes those will be sensitive for awhile. However, depending on your age, it's mostly likely you've developed a small cavity. If it continues to bother you, schedule another appointment with the dentist.
I would call your dentist adn get back in just in case you do now have a cavity.
