How can i get my teeth straightened and shortened .?
Answers:
It wouldn't be advisable to just "shorten" the teeth. You should see an orthodontist for a consultation for correcting your complete dentition. With the problems you've described here, you probably have a simple case which wouldn't take very long to correct. But anytime even one tooth is out of alignment, it's most likely that they all are. To move one or two upper anterior teeth to another position would involve moving all of the upper teeth to make room for them. Then the lowers must be moved to match the uppers when they are in occlusion or when you bite together. If the occlusion is off it can cause serious problems later; excessive wear on the enamel, tissue erosion, migraine headaches, TMJ, bruxism or clenching or grinding. Hope I’ve been of some help and that you will decide to seek the advice of an orthodontist to correct your dental problem rather than creating another one. Good luck!
braces take all your teeth off

Dentists can grind teeth away to shorten them, there are also moulds which will fine position teeth. However theres nothing to stop the teeth going back to the original position. It would be expensive, really you need to consult an orthodontist if serious. I recently investigated this as some of my teeth are twisting a bit, but was told that it could make them worse and they have to deal with people with far more serious problems.
Are your teeth perfectly clean? are you really that bothered?
go to a cosmetic dentist. he'll be the one to know if your teeth can be fixed by bonding alone. he can also re-shape your teeth. these two processes are much cheaper than braces and veneers. and you're right, veneers are hard to maintain.
