Any way to get rid of an Absess tooth without a dentist?
I have my wisdom tooth that is absessing. It generally hurts very little or a dull pain that is constant. But sometimes It hurts so bad I can't think all I want to do is cry. I feel like I'm being electricuted! I don't have dental insurance or money right now.

to get rid of the abscess mix equal parts of baking soda and salt and dab a bit of wet cotton wool in it then stick between tooth and gum and leave overnight. this will draw the poison out and take away the pain. remember to spit poison out and rinse out mouth with salty water. still need tooth out tho or it will come back. c a dentist
I hate to tell you but there is no way to make this better without a dentist. In fact, if the tooth is truly abscessed it will only get worse without medical care. Abscessed teeth have the possibility of causing a severe infection if not properly cared for. THis really is a serious medical situation. Call a dentist, explain the problem, and see if something can be worked out. Try the local health department. At the very least you need antibiotics.
You'll have to go to a dentist at some point soon. Use ore-gel to nub the pain. Check around and see what the costs might be and get there asap. I have had an abscessed tooth and it wasn't fun.
You should call around and tell them your situation and if they can't help you ask who may be able to. Keep calling different dentists, I'm sure you will find someone that you can at least work out a payment plan with.
You need to have your tooth fixed by a doctor, that's all there is to that.
Maybe you could get some kind of financial help or some kisd of temp. insurance through your local government.
im sorry but antibiotics and te dentist removing whats causing te abcess is the only way, i've been there with no insurance, extra money and the worst pain ever,,,hope you feel better
You might want to look up a Free Dental Clinic in your area. They are around. Hope you feel better soon. Some people, I just read about, said cold water helped, then others said hot seemed to work better.also, brushing with baking soda, rinsing with peroxide/water half and half or so, might help eliminate some of the bacteria problem? Best thing: look for a free clinic.
This works.go to the health food store and buy some Aloe Vera Gel (the pure kind you can drink) and place some in your mouth and hold it next to the tooth.it will draw out the infection and releive the pain. You will be amazed at how fast it will heal your tooth.
Antibiotics can make the problem settle down, but if the source remains it will just come back.
