what vitamins help gum diease?

I have bleeding gums they are also red and immflamed, I brush with a sonicare and flosh and I also have braces, what can I do my gums have been like this all my life and I know I lack vitamins but i need to know what vitamins work for gum problems.thanks for the advice

do NOT use anything w/ fluoride, it puts holes in ur teeth after using it for a very long time!! i have had the same problem and i will tell you what i have used to cure it. use neem toothpaste. it is natural & comes from india. (you can find it online or ur international section at a grocery store.) use all natural and/or organic mouthwashes. (tea tree is the best) then for what vitamins you can take to prevent infections in ur gums, use: folic acid, vitamin c and co-enzyme 10. in 1 week, you will feel better & see a difference in even the color of ur teeth. they will be nicer & whiter. ;D

there is a mouth wash with flouride, or it may be called flouride or something similar. After you get your teeth cleaned the dentist probably puts this foam type stuff in your mouth and has you swash it around, that is flouride they have you do that to restore vitamins and such that they killed off while scraping your teeth. So try that! or call you dentist and see what they recomend
I don't know of any vitamins that will help, you should add a rinse like listerine twice a day in addition to what you are already doing. If that doesn't help you should talk to your orthodontist. Also how old are you, it could have something to do with hormones. Good luck
