Is this pain in my lower mouth and throat normal?
I just got my lower right wizdom tooth removed on Thursday and had a few stitches. One of the tooth's roots was curve and it took longer than expected to extract it. Is it normal today, sunday I can barely open my mouth and the pain is also going down to my throat on that side of my mouth?
Answers:
No the pain you have now is not normal. It should have started to subside by now. You may have a dry socket which is treated by a medicine placed in the extraction site. Call your Dentist/Oral Surgeon Monday morning
I agree with Gaston. It should be getting better instead of worse. You need to be seen.
