how long after you get your braces, do your teeth start moving?

Right away, but they move so slowly, you would never notice it. Try taking a close up picture of your teeth on the first of every month. Then you can compair them and see the difference that the braces are making.

For me, after the first day I could feel them changing! That's because they're so tight the first few days!
with my kids it was right away. My younger childs teeth were in position withing a month while my older child had braces for three years!
well what was the estimated time your orthodontist gave you? plus it depends on the person. I felt mine moving for the whole first week and each tightening, but that's because my mouth was stretched before hand and there was lots of room to move about. And by the time I was done and got my retainer, a year passed by. unlike some of my friends who had it for 3+ years.
