As a practicing dentist, I usually initially recommend my patients try Crest Whitestrips, which can be purchased at Wal-Mart, Target, etc.etc.
Use as directed on the package, and you will notice results.
Also, avoid dark colored beverages such as coffees, teas, and colas. These are known to stain teeth over time. Also, smoking can very easily stain teeth.
If you are not seeing the results you would like, contact your dental office for further advice on in-office whitening or whitening trays that they can make for you. These procedures will have a higher fee associated with them as compared to Crest Over-the-Counter Whitestrips.
u could try whitning strips
professional whitening at a dentist runs about $500.00
and there lots of over the counter fads that really don't work, don't try the gel, it runs on your clothing, and makes your gums sore.
the only thing I can say worked a little was the whitening strips. try the extra strength. just keep them up follow the directions and after the first box you will probably see alittle notice of improvement, then its up to you if you want to buy more.
ps, you can get your money back if you are not satisfied so keep your receipt.
Whitening Strips should help with this problem! If they don't then return and ask your dentist about what you should do! I don't know what I would do if I were you! Sorry!
~I hope they get whiter with every breath you take!
These treatments are becoming more and more affordable for the average person. I think 'Zoom' is the most cost-effective, but call a few dentist's office and ask them what their most cost-effective treatment is.
Also, if you do go to a different dentist than your normal one, you'll want to make sure that your chart gets transferred. Any dental work you have had done may have been 'color-matched' to the old color of your teeth. If you've had a lot of work done on the your front teeth, you may come out with a 'tie-dye' smile, like brilliantly white with yellow roots and streaks. This is something else to consider if you're having your teeth whitened.
Either way, before or after, you're going to want to avoid smoking, coffee, red wine and other strongly colored drinks.
