whitening teeth does work for most people altho there are situations that bleaching does not work and alternate treatment plans have to be made.

Of course the procedrue works. It also depend on your situation. There are 3 techniques in bleaching teeth and it correlate with the cost. The cheap way is the bleaching you buy at the store such as Whitestrip ( which I think it is good if you just want to see if you like it) but for some people, it works. The second is moderate cost the custome office bleach ing with tray in mouth done at home. The third is the 1 hr bleaching with the special light, which is the most expense.

Bleaching procedure is not for everyone, but you have to try it to know that is why I suggest using the White strip first at the store. Also depend how dark or yellow your teeth are and your expectation, it may take time. The darker the longer you have to bleach like tetracycline staining (very dark yellow bands on your teeth). If your vain, be careful because you could bleach your teeth to death ( you need to have realistic expectation). Don't bleach until your teeth turn translucent which is very bad, could kill your teeth. Talk to your dentist. Good luck
