due to rupturing of blood vessels, if the teeth has turned grey, can it return back to white after sometime?

the milk teeth was hurt by hitting a hard glass. there was blood and the teeth appreared to be loosened for few days. thereafter it firmed up. dentist checked and said there is no fracture. that the color might turn grey as the blood vessels might have been ruptured.

Answers:
Milk teeth or baby teeth will not whiten once they have darkened after a trauma. There is simply nothing to do but wait until the tooth falls out. If there is an amazingly important function, such as a wedding where the child is a flower girl or ring bearer, it is possible for your dentist to put some bonding material on the tooth. This would otherwise cost more money than it is worth and bonding doesn't hold up very well on baby teeth.

If the trauma was on a baby tooth, and it does start to turn grey, it is recommended to monitor tooth for any pain that it may cause the child, and if a little blister starts to form on the gum over that tooth. Usually is a sign of infection(abscess) in that tooth. Which should be examined by your Dentist for further treatment(extraction).
If on a permanent tooth, the only way to get the tooth somewhat white again, would be internal bleaching(similar to root canal). Of course there are the options of different cosmetic procedures that can be done.
So basically NO the tooth will not turn white again on its own.
