What's more painful a root canal or having all 4 wisdom teeth extracted?
Answers:
Wisdon teeth definately. They hurt even after the job is done for like a couple of days. Be ready for some pain medications.
would be root canal..but if the doc is good..should be no prolem
wisdom teeth the root canal is pain less
ow that hurt
root canals don't hurt at all.having wisdom teeth --not too bad but can be a little painful afterward.
I think that pulling is easier than drilling. That is just my personal opinion based on how I feel about what happens in my mouth. I get much more pain from the drill than from the pulling.
But I have fribromyalgia now so that is when I had the drill and the pulling I had before, so I do not know. Fibromyalgia makes all the pain worse. I have not had any teeth pulled since the fibromyalgia and will not.
Probably a root canal. I've never had one, but I did have my wisdom teeth pulled and they put me to sleep to do it, then gave me some pain killers afterwards.
Neither
The wisdom teeth can be painful if you acquire a dry socket. Then be ready for some horrible pain. Just be careful not to "suck" the bloodclot out of the hole the tooth came out of. Once it's healed over, you'll be okay.
Listen to your doctor's orders to avoid dry sockets
The root canal is a piece of cake. Don't worry about that.
root canal. i've had both, and that was definitely the worse of the two.
root canal.
Getting circumsized by piranna ~ ouch ~
I had all four of my wisdom teeth surgically removed in one setting. I was knocked out and I felt fine afterwards(until I ran out of painkillers). It's the healing process that kicks your ***! OW! I also had dry socket.I'm sure that made it 10 times worse than normal.
OOOOOOch!
It hurts just thinking about the answer!
root canal
well i had all 4 wisdom teeth and an extra tooth pulled at the same time. so that was five teeth and i was fine. it was only painful to my tolerance i have never had a root canal so i cant compare the difference
both.. :-(
Never had a root canal. I had 5 wisdom teeth removed (I had an extra) and my roots grew around my jaw bone. Even though I had a local anesthetic and nitrous oxide, I could still feel the pain of them pulling them out.
Hi, Hands down, extracting 4 wisdom teeth.i had this done in my 20's and after everything wears off, look out sister it will drive you crazy with the pain. It's no trip to the park.
Clowmy
I've had both procedures done. Wisdom teeth hurt 10 times more than a root canal.
The wisdom teeth. When I had mine pulled I was given an excuse to be off of work for a week because of the pain medication and to allow healing by not putting undo pressure on the removal sight. I have had several root canals and I never had any post treatment pain.
It didn't hurt at all after pulling out 4 of my wisdom teeth. i never had a root canal though
I would have to say that a root canal is more painful than getting all 4 wisdom teeth extracted. I was put out when I had my wisdom teeth removed, so I had no pain at all.
root canal dont hurt a bit... now a hundred years ago.ouch.
I read another of your questions and see that your wisdom teeth are impacted. Mine were, too. I was asleep for the whole thing, so I didn't feel a thing. However, I had chipmunk cheeks and lot of drool for a couple of days. Yeah, I didn't feel like eating because my mouth was sore. Had to drink out of a straw.
Never had a root canal, so I can't compare the two, but from what I heard, the root canal is more immediate pain. But with impacted wisdom teeth you may be sore longer.
Sorry! What a bummer! :(
wisdom teeth.
