How long does it take for braces?

How long does it take for braces to be put on? does it hurt?

I Had Braces. Now I got retainers. It takes lyk 45mins-1 hr 30 mins depending how good ur orthodontist is. It doesn't really hurt until they stuff that stupid cardboard in your mouth so they can dry ur mouth or whatever.

Edit-Minimum time that u get to wear braces is lyk 14months lyk me or depending on ur case

up to 2 years. may be shorter. but more than 1 year. good luck.
about 30 minutes. it doesnt hurt.
it took mine like an hour or so.. umm to be honest with you it does hurt alittle bit.. but not at the moment they are being put on. your teeth are alittle sore.. but it will pass within a week or so. just eat alot of soup! dont worry you will be SSOOOO happy when your teeth are nice and stright! it will be worth it!
My 15 year old had his put on and no putting them on does not hurt ,but wow the next day his mouth was bleeding and his braces had rubed against his gums his whole mouth hurt for 2 weks straight ,then after that only hurt when he would go have them tightened ,but it was worth it he has great teeth now .good luck .oops takes about 1 hour to have them put on .
not long and the first time they tighten them and put them on yeah
it takes about an hour to put all the brackets on
for me, it only hurt for a few days and after it wears off
