Does med-cal pay for braces?

Answers:
I know that most insurances pay partly for braces. My insurance paid about $2,000 out of the apprioximately $5,000 that it cost to get braces for me. I'm not sure of the exact number that your insurance would pay, but it will most likely pay for part of the cost.
If you are referring to regular medical insurance, that would be a no. You would have to get dental insurance.
