I had a root canal last year. Now I fell my jaw tightening up where the tooth is. Something is wrong. Any idea

Did you have the tooth capped off? The tooth could be corroding and causing tension in your gum. I know this happens when it isn't capped off, but if it has been capped off, then that may not be the problem. Is it just tight or is it painful too? If it is turning painful and goes on for 2 days, I would call your dentist. Even if it isn't the same one, they can still look at it and make sure nothing is wrong. For all I know though this could be normal. I had huge amounts of problems with mine though so I don't know what's normal and what's not. Good Luck though.
tooth cracked below the gums. It probably cracked when the quack did the job and concealed it from you. It took time for the reaction to take place, and he will deny he had anything to do with it. Go to another dentist, if you can find an honest one, and learn the truth.
YOU NEED TO GET TO A DENTIST AND GET AN XRAY OF THAT AREA TAKEN
