What is normal after having 4 wisdom teeth extracted?

What is it supposed to look like in the holes? I had 4 pulled and the lower one on my right side was abscessed and this one looks kinda white down in the hole...is this infected? And about how long would dry socket take to set in? And about how long before the pain subsides? thanks

Normal for me was only two..but my face swole up so badly that i actually got a stretch mark on my left cheek...i was mortified..fortunately it went down,...the swelling rather quickly...itis different for everyine..i suffered.some do not.please ask maybe 5 people who have had all four out that you know.
