When do braces STOP hurting soo much?!?!?!?

relax, do something else and stop thinking about them
go to a friend's house or something
u will get used to them, in like a matter of days, it feels ucky.
It'll probably take another week or so.
they will prolly hurt for about a week. then you won't notice them so much until you get them tightened the next time
they will stop being sore once the muscles in your mouth become used to your braces, which will be like a week or two
take some advil or something to dull the pain, and try and take your mind off of it.

...if the pain is unbearable.try advil, tylenol.EVEN orajel...I know for a couple of days i just used that stuff and it seemed to help.
Remember this. You life will change when they come off..it is a a long road, but SOOO worth it!!!
stop thinkin bout them. they gon hurt every time u go to ur ortho so sooner or later your gon get used to it
Maybe in a week or two, try just drinking soup or eating mashed potatoes if it hurts. Or take something like pain killers
it takes about a week for the pain to go away for the first time. if it is unbearable, take a pain reliever and drink something warm. keep in mind that the braces are pulling your teeth from the current position into a new one so will take some getting used to. also depending on how long you have to wear them you may be going back to have the wires replaced and you will have the same pain all over again. wish i could tell you something better, i had them for two years. I was so relieved When they came off. good luck
Yes it does suck when you first get braces. For me at least, it took about 2 full weeks for the pain to completely go away. They told me to eat * like pudding and yogurt and * but I'm a athletic guy so there was no way i was gonna eat that for all my meals and i ended up just semi-chewing my food and swallowing it so maybe that made the pain last longer than it should have. After the initial treatment, whenever you get em tightened again, it'll only hurt about half a week to a week!
