Do you have Medicaid/Medicare? IL dept of health and family services covers dental for Medicaid recipents. (Not sure about Medicare as my company does not work with that part.)

Extractions and dentures (full and partials) are covered with pre authorization. Your dentist will need to send in a pre authorization request.

If you don't have Medicaid, talk with your social worker. You need some kind of coverage. I'm not sure which they would cover you with. If you're on a spend down, the social worker will help you figure out at what point you can qualify.

You probably could surf the web and see if you could find a dental school around, they are usually alot cheaper than a regular dentist. You could also call D.H.S. and see if they know of any programs that can help you.
