Is ice cream okay to eat with braces?
Answers:
You can eat it, but you have to clean your teeth throughly afterwards . I would stay away from too many sweets, they are impossible to get off of teeth with braces.
Cold sugar-free drinks are soothing to sore teeth, I have found.
yes as long as u dont eat anything chewy like gum
NO!! ice cream is great! It helps keep the pain level down and taste great too!! Eat ice cream all you want just make sure you brush your teeth really good to get any left over ice cream out of them nice braces! :)
you should be ok; just remember, ice cream has a bunch of sugar, and you have to be extra careful to brush and floss now that you have braces.
the braces provide even more places for plaque to build up. plaque is whole colonies with millions of bacteria living in there. When you consume carbohydrates, espcially simple sugars like sucrose, you give them their favorite meal. Then they produce acid as a metabolic end product, and that can decay your teeth. "metabolic endproduct" is a fancy , science-y way of saying Poop.so if that doesn't make you want to brush extra careful.
Good luck w/ the braces...enjoy the ice cream, and take care!
Yes it is totaly okay to eat ice cream with braces. But if there is some kind of topping like carmel and it is really chewy (though it probably won't) You shouldn't eat it .
yea as long as you keep a brushing routine going when i got mine tightened thats all i ate so eat ice cream
Your ice cream intake should not increase because of your braces, however, the cold sensation does help with the pain and you don't have to chew it. I remember eating spaghetti o's when I first got my braces. You can also try baby food, applesauce, & soups.
u can eat as much as u want as long as it doesn't have anything hard in it
make sure u brush really well other wise u will have white blocks where the brackets use 2 be
don't eat bread unless it is toasted other wise it will get stuck in there and be hard 2 get out!
It's ok. Just brush your teeth well.
