Braces question?
Answers:
They dont need to match up, and they probably wont, dont worry about it unless your teeth look horribly mixed matched
BUT WHEN YUO GET BRACES IT WON'T HURT
It will eventually, ask your orthodontist if you have any questions!
No. I have the same problem, even after braces.
My orthodontist told me that the only way for me to fix my overbite is to break my jaw and get it wired shut straight.
I had braces on for over three years and I still have a cross bite and TMJ. Like the other poster wrote, the only sure way to fix it was to have jaw surgery. My two aunts had it done for severe over bites and it was extremely painful and a long recovery (it took about a year for them to be able to completely open their mouths). Talk to your dentist about what can be done.
It has been my experience that you need to have braces to get your teeth really straight and aligned. Since it's only a couple of teeth, you might be able to get Invisilign..they are clear remove able braces...really cool. Look for a Dentist that is experienced and uses them.
