Help Me Please? My jaw hurts from the left side every time i open my mouth it hurts? Do you guys no why?

I don't now if it is my wisdom tooth but it hurts Please Help.

Don't know for sure but from early teens I suffered from a condition that caused my jaw to drop out of place. Put your finger right next to your ear where your jaw joint is located. When you open your mouth you should be able to feel the joint and any movement in the joint. Mine got so bad it would lock open until the muscle relaxed. Had to have my jaws wired together for about 6 long weeks and it seemed to correct the problem...Ask a dental specialist.

That happened to me. It didn't last for very long. My jaw would pop when I opened it but it is fine now.

It's a very common ailment in people, and that is what is causing your pain.

If your dentist doesn't treat TMJ patients, he most likely will refer you to someone who does.

Sleeping with a mouth guard or "Night Guard" at night will help ease the pain in the morning. These are available from your dentist b/c he needs to custom fit them for about $200.00.
If you don't have dental insurance, Walmart and Walgreens have them in the tooth care aisle for about $20.00 bucks, but you will have to custom fit it yourself. Just follow the directions. It's easy.
It's either your wisdom tooth or a cavity. Sometimes the cavity gets to the root and if infected, cause pain in the nerve ending. Go get it checked out.
