My 3rd son is 11 yrs old. What I am worry about is his both side 3rd tooth already 3 time pulled off.?
Answers:
YOUR SON WOULD NOT HAVE 3 TEETH COMING IN THE SAME EXACT SPOT WHERE HE PREVIOUSLY HAD LOST ONE. THE PERMANENT TEETH HAVE LONG STURDY ROOTS AND THESE WILL FEEL FIRM AND WON'T BE AS WOBBLY AS THE BABY TEETH THAT WERE PREVIOUSLY LOST.
DR. KATI IS CORRECT IN HER DESCRIPTION OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES.
I am sorry, I am confused. What are you extracting. Humans only shed one set of teeth (baby teeth) and the your permanent teeth should come in to place. At 11 your son should have almost all of his teeth. your son should have 8 incisors (square teeth) 4 on top and 4 on bottom, 4 canines (pointy teeth) 2 on top and 2 on bottom (should just be coming in). 8 premolars, 4 on either side (2 on top, 2 on bottom) these should just be coming in, 4 molars, 2 on either side (1 on top, 1 on bottom); his twelve year old molars should start to be coming in, 4 total. There are some conditions where a person will have extra teeth, called hyperdontia. The teeth will usually be abnormal looking. You would be able to recognize these teeth right away.
When a child has a baby tooth fall out , a new permanent one can appear right away, or it can take up to a year to grow in. It just depends on the child. Dont worry if it has only been one month. Worry if it is over a year.
Take care and good luck!
