I have been having really sore pain in one of my front teeth now for the last few weeks?

my dentist told me to use sensodyne toothpast 2 c if that helped. it did 4 about 2 days then the pain came bac and its really painfull now, i woke up this morning and can barely move my jaw, could the pain in myjaw be from the pain in my front tooth and does anyone know what it is

I had the SAME thing this last saturday. I needed a root canal. If you wait it'll be much worse! The infection in there will spread and you may not be able to save the tooth if you don't go in right away! Please do, the root canal was NOT painful at all.

Did your dentist take an xray?
.it sounds like a severe abscess.and yes,i've had my jaw hurt from it.the infection spreads. has he taken an x=ray?please call him back right away. i have very sensitive teeth too,but you know the difference between sensitivity and pain.hope you feel better soon.
