which are the better careers, and what is the salary of a general dentist?

Answers:
Dentist's earnings vary according to location, type of practice, and the individual's number of years in practice. Dentists who specialize, such as oral surgeons and periodontists, and those who work in large urban areas generally have the highest earnings. Nationally, the estimated median net income of general dentists is $140,000. A median net income of prosthodontal dentists is around $240,000. An implant dentist makes.enough.

i'm a general dentist and i'll make around 300k this year. i have friends that make quite a bit more and quite a bit less.

i'd stick with general rather than spinning wheels in the mud while trying to become a specialist. dentistry is getting easier and easier so that a general dentist can pretty much do anything that a specialist can do. specialist absolutely hate to hear this cause it means they are left with the most difficult cases and biggest pain in the butt patients.
