oral thrush?
5 months ago i got oral thrush from my newborn i also had it on my breasts but that cleared up straight away i no longer breast feed babys thrush has cleared up but my oral thrush hasent iv been to the doctors loads of times iv had full blood count, sugar levels checked and theres nothing wrong with me iv tried nystain liquid,nystain lozengers,funguizil losengers,deflicain tablets,daktarin gel, and nothings worked . can anyone tell me if the yeast and suger free diet works

Sounds like your immune system is at a low point. make sure you eat healthily, plenty of fruit, veg, drink plenty of water and why not try eating natural bio live yoghurt. If it works down south, it might work up north. You can only try.
perhaps you need to try products likje lsterine mouth wash as that might nelp and soothe and irradicate the infection basically your main focus is oral hygiene that will help it
My mother almost died from it. While she was in Hospice, a nurse told her to gargle with salted water. Cleared it up in less then a month. All the other stuff did not work for her either. Good Luck.
i have also herd to gargle salt water, also vinegar is suppose to fix anything try gargling it and try mixing a tablespoon in juice and drink it. it may taste bad but it cure anything.
u seem to have tried all the meds, how abt ur immunity, usually oral thrush is an indicatorer of ccompromised immunity, pliz have another go to ur docs otherwise avoid eating very sweet things and eat/drink fermented products like yoghurt really help. but ot without goin to the docs again, quick recovery

Microscopical examination of the scraping from lesion needs to be done.If positive oral fluconazole 150 mg weekly once may be taken for four/six weeks.No oral application..only mouth wash with warm saline water.Keep your mouth clean..and stop smoking etc..if at all you have some addiction.But,first see a Otolaryngologist or a Dermatologist .
oral thrus are very common problem. many a time it keep patient in trouble for a longer time specially if it is associated with constipation. however i don't find any problem in breast feeding your child. i feel you have not visited a good Dentist. please visit www.kashidental.com and post your detail there along with photographs of oral thrush, so that we can give you further advice. till then you can use Metronidazole ointment for local application 3-4 times a day.
You can buy corsodyl from supermarkets that works well also gargle with saltwater twice a day and eat a tub of natural yougurt each day this will definatley work

Use good old bicarbonate of soda rince your mouth if anywhere on your body bath in it works wonders
