ways to help a kidney stone pass.?

I'm 27 years old and have a kidney stone the size of a nickel and no insurance to help me get rid of it. Does anyone know a way to help it pass?

That's all you can do unless you want a surgical procedure.
Hate to say it, but there is no way one that big will pass. Stones larger than 5 mm usually require some type of medical proceedure to pass. By the way, how do you know it's that big? One that size should have been pretty much shutting that kidney down.

I hvae had kidney stones before- either they are small enough to pass on their own or you have to have them medically taken care of. They have some ultrasound devices that can help bust them up, but if they are too large or wont respond to that, then you have to get them surgically removed. There should be a hospital in your area thta will help you regardless of insurance. I would drink plenty of water, not too much (you can drink too much), but be well hydrated.
