Is it true that live, inhaled spiders will kill cancer cells in the lungs?
I've heard that the maori will inhale decent-sized spiders (about the size of a dime) to cure lung cancer. Supposedly, a certain species can survive the trip, and tends to eat cancer cells before being coughed up.
Answers:
Not been scientifically proven
This is ridiculous. Anything that gets as far as the lungs cannot be coughed up. The lungs are not hollow bags of air. And even if this were possible, how would the spiders know which tissue is cancerous?
what the?
I seriously doubt it. If you inhaled a spider, you would get aspiration pneumonia.
Dear Ndugu,
I hope you are sitting down for this, Helen, your adopted mother, is dead. But look at me rambling on, you probably wanna cash that check and get yourself something to eat.
p.s. totally works, i took up smoking just to cure the oncoming cancer with spiders. Soon chemo will be only for arachnophobics
