kidney stone 2?

i wrote in there about my kidney stones and thanks for ur answers!! i didnt mention that four years ago i had a massive cyst on my overy and had surgery, my grandfather also died of kidney poisioning at the age of 35, does this run in the family?

Answers:
You say you had a cyst on your ovary removed. One of the major complications from gynae surgery is damage to the ureter (the tube which runs from your kidney to your bladder), but as your surgery was some time ago this is quite unlikely.
Another possible cause of your pain could be adhesions from the surgery to your ovarian cyst. During surgery, the tissues can become inflamed and ahere to each other due to their being handled. If your symptoms have worsened since this surgery, theres a good chance that the surgery could have been a contributing factor.
If you have a confirmed kidney stone, have you had any dietary advice? Kidney stones are formed by deposits of salts such as calcium, and high calcium foods should be avoided, However, this advice should come from your GP, as restricting calcium intake could lead to other problems, such as osteoporosis.

Cysts might do, kidney poisoning not necessarily. Do you know the actual cause?
The ovarian thing usually doesn't but kidney problems sometimes can run in the family. I would go back to the doctors and refuse to leave until he helps you properly. Pain for a year is not going to go away in '2 or 3 days' like he told you.
Kidney issues DO run in the family. my father has major kidney problems and i will someday too. im lucky so far that i havent had problems.
Sadly yes kidney diseases can run in some families. But word of advice to you don't take vitamin c if your prone to kidney stones. Best best way to keep the kidney clean is drinking barley water its flushes the kidney.
Hi well cyst certainly dont run in the family, anyone can get these anywhere in the body, kidney poisioning maybe, i havent heard off it thou,Go to your gp for advise about this thats what there there for.
I have a friend who does a kidney cleanse every so often. The first time he did it he found it amazing as has everyone I've spoken to, who has done it.
It is quite simple apparently but I'm missing some of the vital details, maybe you could research this more.
Anyway it goes like this - drink 1 litre of Apple Juice per day (reconstituted is fine and I even heard better than pure for these purposes). The apple juice apparently softens the stones. You do this for a set period and the stones should be softened. Then, at some point , I can't remember whether it's a week or more you eat some kind of flax or other ingredient then lie on a specific side to release the stones.
I believe the technique is Ayurvedic and like I said has had incredible results although sounds a bit hokey pokey I know. Something this simple is worth a go and I hope to do it myself one day when I find out the correct proceedure. I wish you all the best in health and everything you heart desires.
