Acupuncture: Do blemishes on a meridian relate to the organ or just coincidence?
example; if the stomach meridian has skinblemishes does that mean the stomach is out of balance or just coincidence?
Answers:
There is definately a correllation between disturbances located on specific meridians and the organs which the meridians are associated with. It is also significant at what location along the meridian the disturbance is located. .. For example, the further away from the beginning of the meridian you go,. the closer you are to the core of the specific organ associated with that meridian. .. In fact,.. the physical organ is simply the most dense location on that meridan.
..
I would discourage you from being concerned about a skin blemish however. It is likely simply a very mild detoxification reaction. .
Could very well be true. My Aunt had an infected fingernail on her little finger and later was diagnosed with a heart imbalance. I'd visit an acupuncturist if it were me.
Pure coincidence. No relation.
"my cousin's friend's sister's mother-in-law had a freckle on her hip, and was later found to have a brain imbalance"
What a load of hokum.
Now, if you could show that EVERY person who had X skin blemish also had Y disease, (not some bogus "imbalance" -- wtf is that??) then you might have something interesting. But a single case here and there proves nothing. Pure coincidence.
