About a year ago, I was drinking about a half gallon of it a day. I gained 120lbs in 4 months. I quit drinking it and lost all the weight.
the average healthy person only needs 1/2 teaspoon a day. for those who are in recovery, about 2 teaspoons. in these amounts, no it will not make you fat.
I cant imagine anyone taking that much.
In fact since much cod liver oil is shark liver oil I suspect more than 3 or 4 ounces a day would make you very sick from vitamin A overload.
