Extremely bad stomach cramps?

How can I get rid of them. It happens mostly when I eat something spicey. I hate this as I love mexican foods but I might have to try to stop eating it.

Answers:
Stop eating spicy foods. Your body clearly has an intolerance to that type of food. You may even be putting yourself at risk for a few gastrointestinal problems if you continue.
maybe you have IBS?
irritable bowel syndrome, makes it hard to eat ethnic and spicy foods.
could be acid reflux. if it is, you should not be eating spicy foods at all.
It may be acid reflex you need to go to a doctor and see. Bedside it may prevant you from giveing up spicy food.
Its hard to tell what is really going on without more information, but I would suggest that you look into eating a more rounded meal when you eat those foods. So, for instance, if you really like eating Mexican foods then try not to just eat the spicy things but perhaps follow your meal up with Mexican desserts like dolche leche. The milk content in this food may actually assist your digestion.
Right now I am living in China, and the food here is nothing the same as what you get in the US for "Chinese food." I have found that eating here and in other countries is not fully understood through our approach to other ethnic foods. There is a reason that certain dishes are served together in other countries. So like I said above: eat those foods. Go for it, but follow those things up with other dishes from those reagions that balance and compliment the meal and your stomach. Don't go over board with those Mexican desserts though 'cus they can really stick around.
I know that spicy foods are very acidic and if u like to eat these things, then try taking a zantac before u eat spicy foods.maybe an hour before u eat pop one of those tablets and see if that helps. rubberstampr
I would suggest going to the doc. Where are the stomach cramps? If they are in your upper abdomen(right upper or upper middle) this could indicate either gastritis or even gall bladder problems.

I just had my gall bladder removed. I suffered through some really horrible stomach cramps(I called them attacks) for about 2 months before I finally went to the doc. I had an ultrasound of my abdomen done and come to find out I had numerous gall stones. Now that I've had the surgery, I haven't experience those horrible pains since then. You really should go to the doc and explain your pain, how often it is, when you get it, etc. so he/she can make a diagnosis and treat the problem. I hope you figure it out soon.
I think you need to find out what the ingredient is that is bothering your stomach...Sometimes it isn't the entire meal but 1 ingredient.
There are so many reasons for stomach cramps. Overexertion, dehydration and injuries to muscles can cause muscle cramps. When the arteries in the legs become narrow, the supply of blood carrying oxygen to the feet is affected during exercise. Cramps can also be due to lack of oxygen, water and salts like potassium, calcium and sodium. Muscle cramps may also be a symptom of disorders like nerve compression, diabetes, hormone or thyroid disorders. Remedies are available at http://aches.in/cramps.html
