what herbal tablet works best for sleeping?

Answers:
The Homeopathic Remedt PASSIFLORA INCARNATA Q(Mother Tincture) 20 drops in a sip of warm water.
Take Care and God Bless.

Yeast and Hops, You can buy it pre mixed and you need about 9 pints of it but it will knock you out for sure
i found that sleeping tablets ie herbal ones did not help me that much.

Try solving the route of the problem, if it is stress try passaflora (i think this how you spell it!)

this is herbal, and chills you out nicely which helps with sleep patterns as you become more relaxed etc.

This works so well for me - Ive even used it when teaching teens with behaviour problems - it made me get through the eve with ease
Melatonin, but make sure to take only 3mg that's the max dose you should take. There are timed release ones to help you stay asleep and immediate dose ones to help you fall asleep.it's natural but you can become dependant. Do some research to see if it's right for you.
Valerian Root in tablet form or in a tea form works really well for a lot of peaple
Choose someone w/ mint
Valerian
its fantastic really help you settle for the night
I too have lots of troubles..this is the best natural product I have found
good luck
If you are in UK - try "Somnus" which is available at Boots. That's the one that works best for me, and it usually takes a hefty bang on the head with a pile driver to get me off!

You could also try a combination of old fashioned remedies (some of which work even bestter than the pile driver)

I'm sure you've heard of and tried many of these, but here goes:

1. Fantastic sustained sex with someone you trust and love

2. Other vigorous physical activity - DIY, long walk, good workout, until shattered.

3. The Japanese swear by half an hour in a hot bath. This helps me and I include fragrant bubble bath and candles.

4. The right sort of chilled music - experiement until you find your favourite

5. Milky drinks

Hope this helps
Nytol herbal
Not herbal but... try thinking that its five to seven and you have to get up in a few minutes. You will want to go back to sleep.
works for me.
A really heavy one, dropped on your head.
something with camomile or lavender to relax you. there are a lot of shower gels and lotions now too, i have found some of the best are the baby products, the grins n giggles lavender body wash sends me right to sleep!
try nytol herbal mate, worked for me when i was pregnant.
Try valerian-passion flower-hops-camomile-
Pills and tablets are like marbles where they pass right through your system with little abosorption (5-7%) into your body. If you are looking for supplements that are to a particle size that is 99% abosorbed into your body, you might want to check out some liquid nutrtional products such as "Vibe". This is an all-in-one foundational nutritional supplement that i take. It's not specifically geared towards sleeping but I have experienced better sleep after i started taking it and i think you might find better results with something like this than with a tablet that can actually do more damage to your system than it is doing good.

Valerian and melatonin are pretty good. Sleepy time tea or chamomile. A good multivitamin. Calcium-magnesium-zinc tablets 3 times a day with meals. Selenium 100-200 mcg a day helps if you are deficient in the mineral.
Monavie juice has helped some people rest better.
Hot baths relax muscles so you might doze off, but hot water raises your blood pressure and you will wake up soon after you fall asleep. As others have already suggested, try Valerian 1st and that failing, Melatonin 3mg. I put a dram of whiskey in milk (milk has tryptophan in it.with the warmth, and whiskey, too - nite nite.) Avoid alcohol, pls, if you have probs w/it.
Spray your pillow with mixture of Lavender essential oils which can be brought ready mixed.
the best supplement for sleep is valerium- but it stinks! And theres still some controversy about side effects. Melatonin is good. You also might want to take some relaxing teas like chamomile and try aromatherepy. I know you want a supplement but you might have to make some life style changes as well to get effective sleep.
'Calms' were recommended to me at a time of stress. I have used Valerian, but now find that 5HTP Serotonin (Healthspan) helps me sleep.
.
A Doctor on TV praises the lettuce sandwich - (it works) The lettuce has something in it that releases endorphins to relax and happify you, and the bread is a carbohydrate that promotes sleepiness. A milky drink works in the same way (but is not as good as a lettuce sandwich. He said you only need one lettuce leaf, between bread and light butter.
Valerian is good its a basis for many herbal sleep remedy's also potters nodoff,5htp is really good it releases serotonin into the body.
don't watch TV in bed its a stimulant, read or have a bath, don't drink tea or coffee in the evening they are still acting as stimulants for six hours.
I am an alternative medicinal therapist and there are a few that are used, but the best 2 are VALERIAN and PASSION FLOWER. You can buy them separate or combined, get them at the Health shop
