is there any home remedies for ear aches?
Answers:
I don't know a home remedy for easing the pain of earaches, however I would like to share the secret and simple PREVENTIVE measure to keep them from ever occurring!
Keep babies and children's ears COVERED in any weather other than a warm (as in 65+degrees Fahrenheit) windless day. In cold weather, rainy weather, or on windy days, the ears of infants and children are very vulnerable to developing ear infections, and thus earaches. The inner ear is not developed enough to resist this susceptibility until approximately the age of seven.
I had an earache when I was a child and remember the intensely incredible pain I suffered. Determined that my children would never experience this pain, I kept their ears covered in cold, wet, or windy weather until they had each turned seven years old. Even on a warm day, if there was a lot of wind, I covered their ears. My daughter had only one ear infection and it was extremely mild with no pain. (She is now 22 yrs. old.). My son has never had an ear infection. He is 15 yrs. old.
I shudder every time I see parents with their babies or small children's heads uncovered in cold, wet and/or windy weather, because I know what needless pain those children are likely to experience.
a couple drops of olive oil should help.
have someone blow cigarette smoke in your ear, don't know why it works, but it does!!
This sounds sick but ALOT of people back in the day used to say that baby urine worked. Im not about to try that though so i would suggest going to like walmart or something and buying the ear numbing drops.
ear candles are great. You can get them at most health food/ nutrition places. Deep cleansing of the wax makes a world of difference.
my dads roomates have liek three hundred children and when one of their kids have a ear ache they put warm water with vinager in their ear.
If it is swimmers ear (from swimming in gunky ponds or pools) use a mixture of rubbing alcohol and hydrogen peroxide. Pour 1/2 of a teaspoon into each ear. Let it sit 1 mn each ear, then turn over and drain. For other infections contact a doctor.
some drops of manzanilla tea
I put a heating pad on mine sometime. I use Similason earrache drops and it relieves it almost as soon as it gets inside the ear. You can get it a Walmart and one tiny bottle lasts a very long time. I have chronic earraches from allergies.Best wishes!
