what is the employement potential to become a registered nurse?
Answers:
RNs are probably one of the most in-demand professions in the country. You should have no problem finding employment anywhere.
Registered nurses are in high demand in most areas.
This is especially true now that the baby boomer generation is reaching retirement.
It is the fastest rising need in the nation at this point and will only get worse with the baby boomers retiring. A qualified nurse has the option of not only working in hospitals, clinics, doctors offices. But also being heavily recruited for the Armed Services. Wages differ widely considering where you work, you level of education and the geographical area you wish to work. But it is fairly accurate to say wages range from 80.00 an hour down to 14.00 an hour with an ASN. BSN ranges are almost the same, maybe earning a bit more due to usually being in management or teaching. PN wages start at about 80.00 an hour and go up depending on your area of interest.
