Is kava sold in the chemist or health shop?
Answers:
Neither. It was banned in the UK in 2002.
For a while it was deemed to do for stress what St John's Wort does for depression. Turned out there's too higher risk of it causing cancer & interacting with other medicines, so it was withdrawn from sale in the UK.
You might be able to import it for private use from the states, but I've no idea what the law is around that. Woudl you really want to use a banned health product anyway?
It's sold at the off licence (hic) . oh, sorry, that's cava!
Health food shop
You can buy it in a health food shop, or online.
I have worked in U.K pharmacy as a technician for 14 years and I have never heard of it!
My answer would be no.
